As a White Bear Lake alumni and former White Bear Lake teacher, I want to use the skills I gained during my 29 years in education to support our students, parents, and teachers. The education and work readiness skills I gained as a White Bear Lake student has allowed me to find a career that I enjoy. I want to insure that future graduates have the same opportunities that I was given as a student.
My top three priorities are:
1. I want all students in the White Bear Lake Area Schools to have an opportunity to explore many different career pathways .
2. I want all students to have an educational experience that prepares them to be career and college ready and competitive in the global economy.
3. I want all students and parents to be aware of the tremendous need for skilled workers.
The pathway to these priorities are:
Provide teachers with class sizes that are manageable for optimal learning
Provide students with flexible learning environments
Reunite the high school students in one high school
Provide students and teachers a safe and secure learning environment
